We have released a new php sonicradio player script for the new php version v5.3.x. This is not an update, it’s a complete script. You need to remove the old script/player from your hosting account and upload the new one. What’s new ? - Register_global requirement has been removed. You can now disable register_global function on your hosting account or server, you can use the script on servers which have disabled register_global. - All the bugs are fixed. - Texts are white now. - Offline messages are corrected. What are the requirements ? - Your radio port must be enabled on the hosting server for UDP out connections, otherwise players will not play your radio. You may contact your hosting provider about this requirement as it can be provided/opened by your hosting company. About quicktime and realplayer, listeners have to install these programs on their computers in order to listen. This may not be considered as requirement but preference, some people do not use winamp or mediaplayer even flashplayer. Features: - The complete shoutcast player for your website - Flashplayer - Winamp - mediaplayer - quicktime - realplayer - It is very easy to use for your listeners, they can listen to your radio with a click by any player. - Language file is included, you can translate and change the texts as you wish. How to install/use ? Simply download the sonicradio2011.zip file from the following url and unzip it on your desktop, use a php edit program or dreamweaver design program to edit/update the config_radio.php file. Enter your radioip, radioport and radiopassword. Upload the whole sonicradio folder to your website and open the url http://www.yourname.com/sonicradio/ enjoy.. Notice: This script is design to use with radios which are created by WHMSonic software. It will not work properly on other radios or scripts. So make sure that you have a radio created by WHMSonic software first.
